A little more of section 28 in the SWCPA handbook
2.32km along the coast and 2.37km inland.
After what seemed a long and rather tedious journey in Frodo we parked at the National Trust car park at Cape Cornwall. As it was now the afternoon, we only had a sort, but sometimes quite steep walk. Initially slightly inland and around steep cliffs.
Then down to the valley at Kenijack, before climbing and walking around Kinidjack Castle and then inland to Kenijack farm and a more level path back to the car park.
The landscape here is dominated by the remains of mining for copper and other precious metals, with mine shafts marked and chimneys of the old pumping engines on the hill tops.
We returned to Cape Cornwall and swam in the clear, cold Atlantic before heading for our basic campsite at Pendeen.
