To Boscastle

A couple of week’s ago we had another trip to Cornwall. The weather was quite variable with very strong winds at times. We Stayed at Polzeth and the at a campsite between Tintagel and Boscastle and walked most of the way – but we have left a gap between Damonchapel and Trebarwith Strand, which we will return to later.

November 2022

We have just come back from staying in Cornwall for a week. We stayed in “Lime Kiln Cottage” which is an interesting conversion at Portholland and part of the Caerhays Castle Estate.

Despite some rather wet and windy weather we managed to walk from Mevagissey to Towan Beach on the Roseland peninsular, only a little way short of St Anthony’s head and the Fal estuary.

As there was broadband at the cottage I have uploaded most of the information about the walks – but there is some editing to do and pictures to add. New walks start here
