Pier Project

In 2018 we decided to visit all the seaside Piers in Britain, however the definitions of a Pier is not as simple as it sounds. Helpfully the National Piers Society has a definition and lists just over 50 Piers in Britain, though there were over 100 in the past.

We started to visit them, almost in a random order, just when we had other reasons to go to a particular area. So here is the story so-far. If you click on any image it will take you to that pier’s website if they have one.
