On the South of the Isle of Wight is the seaside town of Sandown. Very much a typical English seaside resort, which went through hard times as holiday makers chose package holidays. Now things are improving as people realise that the English seaside can be wonerful.
And there is also a traditional pier with amusements, cafes and wonderful views of the sandy beach.
